With a lifelong passion for skincare, Sharmini Goins has always taken a hands-on approach to caring for her skin. The inspiration for House of Bambara came when her daughter suffered a skin reaction that led them to a dermatologist who prescribed an expensive lotion that didn’t help. Determined to create a better solution, Sharmini began experimenting with homemade skincare products, using natural and organic ingredients sourced from around the world. Her goal was to create a body lotion that could heal her daughter’s skin naturally, and after much dedication, she succeeded. Although Sharmini started this business idea during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been a work in progress, and she is now excited to share her creations with the world.
